No homework due to Children's Day. A select few students have homework because they were talking in class!

Dear Parents, February 18th Happy Week 2! Here is a breakdown of what we did in class today and the homework assignment; Today, we went over the week's vocabulary using Wordwall (link provided). Then, we completed a writing assignment using the "Hamburger structure". Students wrote about what they loved about Grade 2. Students have been assigned to write two sentences for their homework, and write words #7-12 three times. Also read the story if you have time. I've encouraged students to create their own, original sentences. Below is the link to some resources, and the Google Classroom folder which I have set up for this class. Dear Parents of G2 I1, In today's three lessons we covered new vocabulary, the story from My View and looked at the Workbook. This is the breakdown of the lesson, and the homework as follows: 1. Vocabulary words 1 - 20 2. Reading 'Ocean Treasures' 3. Bingo for new words 4. Practice Workbook  Homework: Vocabulary words 1 – 6 x 4, 2 sentences using 2 vocabulary words.
